The role of electricity distribution networks in the UK’s energy transition is gaining increasing attention, including with a recent report from the National Infrastructure Commission. As a contribution to the debate, the Supergen Energy Networks Hub hosted a roundtable to discuss the development of Regional Energy Strategic Plans and how these can help inform future distribution network price controls including RIIO-ED3.
