The Hub runs various events as an effective way to showcase project outcomes and promote knowledge exchange. Our events provide a platform for sharing research outputs with stakeholders, demonstrating impact, and encouraging collaboration. They also create opportunities to learn about emerging research, explore innovative approaches, and build networks that strengthen future projects.

If you would like to know more about upcoming or previous events please get in contact with a member of the SEN team.

AI and Digital for UK Energy Networks Workshop

2 June 2026 (in Person)

We are hosting a workshop in June to bring together colleagues to create a shared space to exchange perspectives, explore current research challenges, and collaboratively develop ideas focused on the next steps in AI and digital innovation for the UK energy network.

The workshop will be facilitated by Dr Gareth Buchanan and will build on the workshop held in January at the University of Bath, the emphasis will be on co‑developing research ideas with clear pathways to funding.

We are looking forward to using this workshop as an opportunity to generate new ideas and advance thinking around the role of AI in energy systems
