Biography:
I am a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, UK, contributing to the EPSRC Supergen Energy Networks Hub since September 2024. Previously, I was a Research Associate at the University of Oxford, focusing on energy market integration for grid-scale storage, and at the University of Edinburgh from October 2022 to 2023. Earlier, I served as a Faculty Member in Electrical Engineering at Sirjan University of Technology, Iran. I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) from the University of Isfahan, Iran (2016). During my doctoral studies, I was a visiting researcher at Universidad de Castilla–La Mancha, Spain, where I worked on robust optimization and market participation in MIBEL. My research focuses on modelling, operation, and optimization of power and energy systems, with expertise in electricity markets, smart grids, and distributed energy resources.
