Dr Wei Gan received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, in 2016 and 2021, respectively. From 2018 to 2019, he was a Research Assistant with the China Electric Power Research Institute, Beijing, China. From 2019 to 2020, he was a visiting Ph.D. student with the Robert W. Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, USA.

 

He is a Research Associate with the School of Engineering, Cardiff University, Cardiff, UK. His current research interests include multi-energy system operation and planning, coupled traffic-power networks optimization, and peer to peer energy trading.
