Impact and Engagement Officer

Email: emd57@bath.ac.uk

I’m an Impact and Engagement Officer within the Supergen programme at the University of Bath, where I focus on connecting research with wider audiences and stakeholders and helping to communicate impact.
I joined the University in 2021 after relocating from Wales, starting out as an Administrative Assistant. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to grow and take on a range of roles across the institution. I moved into a Department Coordinator position within the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and later became a Projects Officer in the International Relations Office, where I supported global partnerships and wider institutional initiatives.

Through these experiences, I’ve developed a broad skill set in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and organisational development. I enjoy working collaboratively and taking a proactive approach to my work, particularly when it comes to raising the visibility and influence of research.

I hold a Diploma in Higher Education and Administration, and I’m passionate about continuing to learn and develop professionally. My career so far reflects a strong commitment to growth, and I’m always looking for new ways to build on my experience and make a positive impact.
